The discovery of human remains in garbage containers has shocked the residents of the city of Rosario, in the province of Santa Fe, Argentina. The macabre find was made by a waste collector, who found dismembered body parts in the central area of the city, between Maipú and 3 de Febrero streets.
Ángel, the waste collector who stumbled upon the remains, described the shocking scene: “On the other side was the bag with a box. I thought it was pork meat. I only saw remains in that container passing Maipú. I wanted to cry. A couple of kids were coming and I told them ‘they are human remains.’”
After being alerted by the waste collector, neighbors called the police, which confirmed the discovery of parts of a human body distributed in various garbage containers in the area. Although no information has been provided about the identity of the victim, it is suspected that the corpse was dismembered with small sharp weapons.
Authorities have begun reviewing security cameras in the area in an attempt to identify the person responsible for disposing of the human remains in the containers. It is expected that the victim will be identified soon, while uncertainty and confusion take over the city of Rosario.
